It's Friday, July 3rd, which makes it a holiday for some of the people. I didn't think there would be mail delivery today, but there was!
I FOUND WILL'S KEYS!!!!! He knew he brought them into the house, but where he put them was the question. They were in a
little box where we keep BART tickets, phone chargers, and the tokens from cereal boxes I am keeping to get a free DVD for someone I know who reads this blog. I decided to count the tokens today as I added one more to the box, and as I picked up the full box, I had a epiphany - I bet the keys are in here! They were! Why, you ask? Because Will kept forgetting his cell phone hands free, which we also keep in that tiny box, so he thought if he put the keys with the hands free, he couldn't forget the hands free. That only works if you remember where you put your keys!!!

I once did that at my parents' - I put my keys in the refridgerator with the leftovers, and then forgot where I put my keys, much to my mother's dismay. Things like "how could you not know where you put your keys?" were uttered by my mother, whose keys always go back into her purse. After several minutes of searching and a big "aha" - I remembered they were in the fridge. I swear I asked Will if he put them "somewhere special". The good news is that Chrysler would charge us $200 for a new key - we went and asked. I looked at Will and said "NO, we'll find the keys" since we knew they were in the house. Somewhere. It's good to have 2 car keys again.
Last night I went next door to visit the kittens. This picture came out blurry, but you can see how cute the kitty is. That's my hand and belt buckle for size. It's still small but has whiskers!

Then they grow up to be big kitties like these! Ziggy was on the dishwasher, and Mowry came up but of course I didn't get to snap until he was on his way down. Ziggy was nervous, but he didn't move.

Yesterday Mowry napped a lot. He sleeps in the most amusing positions. Is this really comfortable?

or this?

Apparently he was napping to save up his energy to be a bad kitty at 5:00 am this morning. He needed a lot of sleep. Notice the tail.....

At 5:00 am Mowry and Alex were intimidating Ziggy. At one point we turned on the light and Ziggy was sitting on Will's jeans looking like he was about to poop. My human assessment of the situation is that he wanted to get to his box, but Mow and Al were chasing and bullying him. It's hard to sleep with this going on. BRAT CATS.
Ziggy can usually be found on our bathroom mat waiting for us to come in and give him water from the tap.

Can you please turn on the water? Why are you just standing there with the camera?

Thank you!

Around 1:00 pm this afternoon Mowry came into the office announcing his presence by meowing. And meowing. And meowing. He has a very persistent (read: whiney) meow! So I picked him up and placed him on the unoccupied cat window perch, and he stayed. Couldn't he figure that out by himself? He usually does that when Will gets on a business call. His client has asked him if that's a cat in the background!

We both like trains. We tried to find out the cost of taking the train to Washington to visit Will's mom but it is very expensive. Too bad. This is from the webcam at the Fremont train station.

Yikes. Is this what happens to old cars? Too bad they couldn't be preserved. They all look interesting.
